NIH Guidelines Training Requirement

All faculty, staff and students working with recombinant or synthetic nucleic acids, including transgenic animals and plants are required to take the on-line training course, NIH Guidelines Overview. 

This training meets the NIH Guideline requirement outlined in section IV-B-1-h. 

The IBC has mandated that this training be completed at this time and repeated every 3 years.

Beginning July 1, 2016 all new IBC registrations and updates to approved IBC registrations will be held until training has been completed.
